| Yeah, but I think more people are "ok" with what Sampson did than Eustachy...just my perception. |

The only bad thing with Eustachy is that he was partying with the OTHER school's co-eds.
Then again, if you have to choose between Mizzou chicks and Moo Tech-Ames campus chicks...it's hard to blame the guy. |

Some would say you are confusing "immaturity" with "lack of morals" and isn't having sound morals the very foundation of what a coach represents on the college level?
Again, I'm not advocating making phone calls when your not supposed to. But hanging out drinking with kids when you are the HC at a major university is more than just dumb. It is as immoral as it gets.
If I were a parent I would not consider having my kid play for a dimwit like Eustachy. Now Sampson, he is respected by players and fellow coaches alike. Just ban him from cell phones and land lines and you have a top notch HC. |

DMan you have finally gone over the deep end! Cheating is immaturity? Sampson is a disgrace to all the coaches who follow the rules, it is not about phone calls! It's about cheating when recruiting, I put what he did in the same category as giving the kid money under the door or a new car! Hopefully he can get some type of employment as a playground Supervisor! |

It's all in one's perception of what is right and wrong. IMO, the image you project directly to your players and students as a college athletics coach is everything. (Ballgame) Kelvin Sampson has friends now for life that he made by his actions as a coach. Friends on every level, players, coaches, administrators and fans. Larry Eustachy drank booze and took pictures with coeds. IMO, actions by a coach don't stoop any lower than that. At least Sampson walked off the campus with dignity, Eustachy went crying "I'm an alcoholic, I need help." I don't mean to make fun of alcoholics, but where was that cry prior to that time? Funny how getting caught with your pants down gives guys all kinds of deseases. |

| In fairness, if you're going to pull the "perception" card that works both ways. |

How unfairly critical is that?
Of all people, you egami, the master of perfect knowlege saying I'm pulling the "perception" card.
Please brougham! How many times must I explain to you EVERYTHING we type on here that isn't pasted and comes from us is our opinion and therefore is a part of our perception of things.
Whether it's Roger Clemens, Kelvin Sampson, Pacman Jones or Peewee Herman, if you render a thought regarding them that is not fact - what is it?
It is a part of your perception of things and is your opinion ultimately.
I understand that "perception" works both ways. And I'm okay with that. |

I am not going to get in an endless debate with you about how wrong you are in your assumption that opinions can never be right or wrong. So, keep trying, but you're wrong. However, on the topic, playing by YOUR rules and YOUR perception...your stance is hypocritical. The point remains true, if you are going to say "It's all in one's perception of what is right and wrong. IMO, the image you project directly to your players and students as a college athletics coach is everything." as a defense for Sampson then that SAME logic hold true for Eustachy. Just like there are bunch of people who disregard what Sampson did as wrong there are also a bunch that don't hold the perception that what Eustachy did was any big deal. If you TRULY understand it works both ways then you should just agree and move on and not be all bent out of shape. |

Again, you are missing the point. In my reply, you'll notice there is no double standard where I am pulling the perception card, but pretending it's one directional. |

I'm not bent on the opinion of this thread. On your audacity to actually mention it after all you have typed on here.
But you right about one thing, let it go because me attempting to tell you you are wrong would never fly even if a jury of your peers convicted you. They'd take you away screaming, "I didn't do it! The lawyer fvcked me!" |

That actually was funny Dukie. Not very realistic though for a guy that made millions coaching.
He would buy the company. |

ROFLMAO...I think I know now why Dwight CONTINUES to try and justify Kelvin Sampson's cheating.
You're his gay lover, aren't you??? Or his brother-in-law...one of the two. |

Don't start slinging alchy.....I called it like I saw it. Sampson is a millionaire right now today. Whether you like it or him. He could afford to buy a telemarketing company.
The joke was funny though. |

The difference here is that I can overcome my affliction.
You, however, will always be stuck on stupid.
And thanks in advance for proving me right with your next post...because we know you can't help it... |
