Field of Dreams reminds me a lot of how much I wanted a new stadium and now its on the way!

"build it and they will come"

No more parking in franks front yard!

If you ever stumble across "Necessary Roughness", and it's near the end of the movie, don't turn the channel. Pay attention to the last play of the game where the old QB (the Quantum Leap guy) is scrambling, and the bad-ass D-lineman is going to take him out. But the big Samoan O-lineman lays a big block into the antagonist D-lineman, and sends him to the ground, freeing the QB to make the winning TD pass.

Why watch that?

Look at the "bad guy" when he's on the ground. It only lasts a second two, but he literally has a gallon of blood splurting out of his mouth. It was ridiculously overdone. There's no doubt in my mind that he went on the I.R., never played again, or possibly died from internal blooding and/or organ failure.

That was way too long a post for that stupid movie.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

You've underscored the one reason why I rarely watch many movies. For whatever reason I have an eye for these types of things. I can't remember the last movie I watched and didn't notice either something wrong with some aspect of the movie whether it's an inconsistency in the plot, some overdone aspect like the scene you mentioned or some technical error where the maybe mirror imaged some film (which doesn't happen much these days).

egami, you need to lighten up a little, they are movies, relax and enjoy them, don't over analyze them. my favorite Sportcenter baseball Quote "that must be a Homer Simpson, becasue the pitcher just said D'oh!"

The problem is your assumption that I go into them looking for problems.

When you get your parking bill for the new stadium, you're going to be wishing Frank's front yard was a little closer.

you know what know that i think of it, there are a hand full of movies usually football movies were the clock is always messed up. this usually happens in the end of the game where the clock sound be stopped but i.e. after the ball is dropped, afterthe runner goes out of bound or even after a time out is called.

they need to make a college baseball movie, and maybe it could be about a team making it to the CWS

Those types of things aren't as annoying as things like vranged mentioned. Or obviously fake rain when you can see from the lighting in the camera that it's clearly a sunny day when being filmed. I've seen that one a lot.

I just saw one on a commercial the other day that was annoying too...can't remember it now.

Back in the late 80's and early 90's I used to catch a lot of film that was spliced in backwards. Scenes where the numbers on the bottom of a helicopter or some other factor should have tipped off an editor.

Harlan "Flat Top" Meyers was pronounced dead 1 hour after the game. Following an autopsy, it was determined that the "hit" scrambled his internal organs making them inoperable. This scene was left on the editing room floor, as the producers and director felt it would leave the viewing audience dissatisfied with this "feel good" movie.

No chance
Lets see when I park in Frank’s yard I pay 10 bucks and my security is done by guys I probably would not let in my house nerveless trust them with my car.

Then I hope that the rain won’t cause me to get stuck in his yard.

Then the next day I get to see the fresh dents and scratches from the drunk who is in charge of parking cars in his yard!

New stadium I pay 20 bucks and the paid parking attendant who has not been sucking down beers all day watching my car????? Gee I guess I will have to take that chance!

I apologize in advance guys but this has got to stop. This type of post is taking things too far. I have called the GM at Journal in Omaha and will take action if vranged is not banned or doesn't willingly relent in his personal madness.

Enough is enough - I am posting this in several threads to expose it. Again, sorry you have to endure this crap.

It doesn't bother you that you wagered your child's soul to keep up a lie? Let me type that again. It doesn't bother you that you wagered your child's soul to keep up a lie.

THE DEFENSE RESTS! Your children should be taken from you. I'm not even saying that in the context of two people going at it on a message board. YOur children should literally be removed from your custody.

You are unstable, and you'll probably whore your daughter out for Husker tickets. I know that's a rough thing to say, but it's probably more acceptable than wagering her soul. Let me type it for the third time in the hopes that it registers with your unstable ass: It doesn't bother you that you wagered your child's soul. Amazing.

I apologize too. I apologize on behalf of Dwight, who is the one who actually tried to keep up a lie by damning his daughter to hell. IT's f'n sick, and I'm sorry to be the one to have to report what a piece of sh1t Dwight is.

He's tattling now, b/c he doesn't want to be reminded of what he did.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

A monkey sniffs his ass and falls out of a tree. When he hits the ground and awakes, he's still a monkey.

You calling anybody a tool is like me calling everyone a WINNER!!!!!!

It wouldn't make sense because it isn't true. Far as I have seen you are as much a tool as I have ever seen on any board on the internet.
