Which team has the best chance to go winless or undefeated though the entire NFL season?

Second meeting on December 23 will provide a possible stumbling block.

I'd say it is even odds. Both teams have flirted with the other side.

Neither has made it over the fence.

Probably by the time most of you read this, it may have already changed.

Personally, I'd like to see the the Pats go undefeated.

I am nauseated by those old Dolphin guys (Shula & Co.) and there "hangin on to glory" attitudes.

Funny how the Dolphins and Patriots are tied together this season - both by past history and the present pursuit of history.

Suck to be the current Dolphs though.

It would be fitting and actually add a little bit more to the whole thing if the year someone goes undefeated in the NFL and shatters the Dolphins record is the same year the SeaHorses go 0 - 16.

Their 9-4, maybe they will break the jinx this season.

Red Sox & White Sox had longer waits than Seattle.

The level that you operate at Dukester is adolescent at best.

I'm trying to turn some new leafs on here.

Why don't you do the same.

I've noticed you are never on here during the day like many of us comfortable members.

What do you do for a living? (If you don't tell us - we'll know your ashamed of it)

Ok, I was hoping not to avoid this but you have got me over a barrel and in order to be able to help you I now have to expose my identity.

I am a research scientist working on a secret project looking for a cure for "stupidity", of course it took me years but I believe in finding you I have located the perfect test subject!

Is there any chance you might be heading back to Omaha in the near future? We would only need to do a couple of brain scans, blood samples, and a few tests using square pegs in round holes.

After that we move on to round two which involves you and a couple of chimps but don't let that scare you away.

With your help we can find a cure! Just think of what that could mean to your offspring!

At this time I cannot tell you much more, I could invent some story about moving and hiking and having my daddy inlaw build me a deck but I won’t lead you on.

Now about that new leaf, this is about the hundreth time isn't it?

Both teams continue their streak, but I'd give the edge to Miami for two reasons: 1. It's easier to lose and 2. No one if going to want to be "the team".

New England has two powder puffs and New York. I've maintained for weeks that this will be NE's biggest challenge. Even though Pitt is better it was just unrealistic to expect them to waltz into Gillette and win regardless of "motiviation".

Also, a healthy Giants team is better equipped to beat NE. They can pressure the QB as good as any team in the league and they have better corps of RB's then Pitt.

Their biggest downfall is they have Eli Manning. And regardless of all the ESPN apologists that still think Eli is worthy of being franchise QB, I think NE will get in his head and win because of Eli's inability to overcome.

It would certainly be story though for Miami to upset NE this year, but yeah...not happening either.

What's interesting is that it's been a Miami team that has foiled some previous attempts. I know they beat the '85 Bears team and I believe the upset New England on a streak a few years ago. I want to say it's happened a couple times...but man, if THIS Miami beats them...it could cause mass suicide...

2 Points

1.) I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and the reoccuring theme was Enrique Iglasias' song "Hero." Greeny kept playing it (much to golic's dismay) to express how the Dolphins must feel for having passed Brady Quinn up in the draft.

"I can be your hero, baby. I can take away the pain!"

2.) Coffee shop shop talk here in Balitimore is obvious. No one that follows the Ravens wants to see them lose to the Dolphins. Unfortunately, I think this game in Miami between the Ravens and the Dolphins will be the Dolphins best opportunity to avoid the goose egg.

I know the Bucs went winless as an expansion team.

Have any regular teams went winless in NFL history? I haven't researched it.
