Will someone please let Kirk Ferentz know that having the worst record in DI football does not get him a #1 draft choice! Bring on the Illini for another ass kicking.

This was a rebuilding year. I am still wondering why more Iowa fans and local talking heads didn't acknowledge early on that Iowa was going to be taking hits at some pretty important positions. Tate wasn't NFL caliber material, but he isn't easily replaceable either. I think the o-line losses were overlooked since Iowa traditionally transitions through that rollover fairly well. Skill position suspensions didn't help matters....and now, injuries are starting to cut. This year sucks for you Iowa Fan, but I think you'll see heart and grit developed for next years team.
