You coulda showed up, but you didn't. True or false?
Exactly. Shut up. Preserve whatever dignity you have left. Just stop. |

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up! |

You have eroded yourself into the most pathetic human peice of sh1t I have witnessed in all my travels. I mean really, you'd do anything and say anything (true or distorted) to save face. You know damn well I said Saturday. And you know all the particulars of they way it went. But because you are playing to the few that come here, you will take another face and say things you normally wouldn't. Homogamy? Look it up and pray that you do not indulge yourself down that path. It would result in two white trash people trying to get along. It actually might be comical to see from an outside perspective. |

So anyway...
I still think KSU had a responsibility to stop NU if they didn't like the score. Just like I thought the same thing when Miami got their @sses handed to them by the Patriots.
Fact is Matt, you can't have it both ways - either you like the score being run up or you don't. Which is it? |

Add your pal to the equation. Okay, back on topic. I had to hammer him down Reideen. Everytime he get's an itch, I will let him know how sharp the blade is and always will be. If he is ignorant enough to touch the blade it will cut him.
I remember when Nebraska under Osborne ran up the score on Arizona State in Lincoln. 1997 I believe like 77 to 38 or something. The Sun Devil coach was so livid after the game that not only did he not shake with TO he scolded him. Next year in Tempe, Jake the Snake and a load of Sun Devil future Sunday ballers, beat NU and held them scoreless. I don't feel the same vibes from this ballgame. Circumstances were vastly different with NU verging on the worst season in civilized time and desperately needing a win. I did not feel it was Running up the score. It was time to unleash the demons, to open the floodgates of talent and pent up anger. NU needed a big win. Josh Freeman's post game comments that I saw on the K State website didn't allude to running up the score. He talked about a Nebraska team that he knew was dangerous. He knew had talent and had just had a rough go of things thus far. He applauded their effort on both sides of the ball and said next year it would be different. Sounds like it was an intense ballgame, not a blowout where one coach ran up the score. |

Posted By reideen on 11/10/2007 5:21 PM Perrault's claim NU was running up the score and the pretend outrage he's displaying is pure BS. Its a football game. If KSU can't stop the 'skers when they're 4th & 20, then they deserve to get scored on. Had NU not converted, KSU would have had the ball back with some pretty good field position. Would we still be having this discussion then? Did Matt display the same outrage when the Pats are running up the score on Miami? Only the TV and his hand know the truth. Personally, I doubt it and once again, Matt is taking a non-issue and making it into something that it isn't. I'm as big a 'sker hater as anyone here, but even I think Matt's rants are just silly sometimes when he tries to create controversy.
First of all, Matt's literally the most idiotic talk show host I've ever listened to in the sports world...that's not a slam, that's just fact. I seriously have listened to no one dumber. Secondly, an even better question, in my opinion, is where was Matt when NU got raped the week before? Did he complain about running up the score then? Doubtful, but then I don't waste enough of my life listening to him anymore. Lastly, definitely at the NFL level this subject is ridiculous. Paid, professional atheletes have NO BUSINESS being criticized for doing their job. At the college level, perhaps you can make a bit of an arguement, but as we've seen...no lead is safe in college football. And, certainly, if it's ok for Kansas to run up the score on NU, then vice versa is kosher for NU's raping of K. St. |

Posted By DMan on 11/11/2007 10:33 AM As they are drawn everywhere. Lines have been drawn here as to who we each like or dislike. I know you don't like me and my posts Reideen and so I expect your opinion to lean towards V. If any of you message board boys actually think I would have anything to fear physically from any of you I would make special arrangements to fly to Omaha and take the challenge. Everytime I've issued a competitive challenge (i.e., boxing Logan) you cowards cast it in the Neanderthal category because you know you're not up to it. I invited V to meet me on Saturday morning when I was in town and it is in the archives of this board. I've alluded to being gay? Please man, and this is coming from the a certifiable comic strip lover. I've taken enough Psychology to know what a Freudian slip is. I don't have to slip with my responses.

Posted By DMan on 11/11/2007 3:34 PM Your Inner Turmoil Obsession (ITO Hypothesis - that I created) is rearing it's ugly head in grand fashion today isn't it V? You know One Upsmanship is a game that adolescence play. And while I understand that we all tend to hang on to our old ways to some degree, I would say no one has more "junk" in their reportoire than you. You take the cake. Let me clarify exactly what taking the cake is. It is not winning an arguement. It is not being the most intellectual poster here. It is not because you certifiably have more money than others here. It is because you are the sickest member of this board. No one needs more attention than you. No one reaches out for others to approve of him than you. No one lambasts more posters with crude language than you. You are the lowest form of white trash that has ever hit this board and nothing will ever take that away from you. So, you've won alright. You are the head sick! And you wear it well.

| There were some players who probably should have been out earlier. For example, there is no justifiable reason to have Lucky out there with a 66-24 lead in the fourth quarter. Not with Castille, Helu and, the guy NU coaches love to hate, Cody Glenn, available. |

Could be meat, could be cake. Usually, at a time like that, I'll bluff. "Honey, is this good?" "Well, what is it?" "I don't know. I've never seen anything like it. It looks like...meatcake!" "Well, smell it." (snort, sniff) "It has absolutely no smell whatsoever!" "It's good! Put it back! Somebody is saving it. It'll turn up in something." Thats what frightens me. That someone will consider it a challenge and use it just because it's in there." -- George Carlin |

I would agree with that. Not on the basis of it being a blowout, but on the basis of going into Colorado next week with a chance to be bowl eligible. |

Exactly, egami. No sense having guys like Lucky or Ganz risk getting hurt in a game that's already won when there's an important game coming up. I can see Callahan loving the questions he would have taken if Ganz had gone down in the fourth quarter, leaving NU with the option of going with Beau Davis or burning Patrick Witt's redshirt this late for the CU game. |

| No sense under normal circumstances, but when you have a foot out the door, and boot ready to engage your backside to get the rest of you out, then I suppose maybe you just throw up points as much as possible and hope to God for at least a chance at a future OC job for the local 5th grade league? |

It's so funny how you completely ignore the fact that practically EVERYONE on here thinks you're an idiot -- yet you somehow have convinced yourself you're coming out smelling like roses. I guess that's why you are who you are. If it wasn't so sad, it'd be funny. |
