I might agree if I thought Charlie were smart enough to bench Clausen for Sharpley who is clearly the more talented QB.
Looks like Sharpley is starting.

| Well, Jimmy Claussen is supposedly the second coming, and it's not like the Irish are playing for anything this year, so I understand why they threw him out there. |

clausen seemed a little slow in learning he couldn't get away with the sh!t he did in high school in divsion 1. |

| Clausen seems slow at picking up the blitz, he seems slow at picking up the playbook, he seems slow at picking up footwork techniques, he seems slow at reading defenses....he's in the the slow class for sure. He shows some streaks of talent, but this kid has a lot of work to be ready for big time D1. |

| looking at clausen makes me wonder how good his o line was in high school and how good the competition was they played against. he may have just had outstanding receivers too. |
