I've lost Cadillac Williams and Jake Delhomme in less than a week. Luckily Ronnie Brown came back like I thought he would. Plus, I can also thank the Steelers' defense.

"Perhaps the worst thing that can happen is to reach into the refrigerator and come out with something that you cannot identify at all. You literally do not know what it is. Could be meat, could be cake. Usually, at a time like that, I'll bluff. "Honey, is this good?" "Well, what is it?" "I don't know. I've never seen anything like it. It looks like...meatcake!" "Well, smell it." (snort, sniff) "It has absolutely no smell whatsoever!" "It's good! Put it back! Somebody is saving it. It'll turn up in something." Thats what frightens me. That someone will consider it a challenge and use it just because it's in there." -- George Carlin

Alright guys....Big game for me today. I have been ridiculed at work by the league commish (who also happens to be the 2nd place team) for not playing anyone during my 4 game win streak, yet my only loss was to the 3rd place team in week 1. So today is my put up or shut up game against the # 1 team and points leader. Here is a look at the top 5:
1) 5-0 402 pts, my opponent today
2) 5-0 388.5 pts, league commish
3) 4-1 394 pts, my only loss
4) 4-1 389 pts, me
5) 4-1 388 pts
6th place is 3-2 with 373 pts, and then there is a 20 pt difference between 6 & 7, yet a 29 pt difference between 6th and 1st.

I picked up DeShawn Wynn last Sunday Night right as he was scoring his TD , because he looked excellent on the opening drive, gaining 50+ yards. Then right after I picked him up, he missed the rest of the first half due to cramping and having to go have an IV. Go figure. A guy who played college ball at The Swamp, has to get an IV due to cramping at Lambeau in October. I also dropped Elvis Dumervil and picked up Derrick Brooks this week. I had a hard time deciding my starting QB this week. Culpepper @ San Diego or VY @ TB. Both defenses can be very stingy, although I think Tampa's is a more potent defense. So here is my starting lineup:

QB Daunte Culpepper @ San Diego
WR Randy Moss @ Dallas
WR Dwayne Bowe vs. Cincinati
RB Reggie Bush @ Seattle
TE Jeremy Shockey @ Atlanta
W/R DeShawn Wynn vs. Washington
K Kris Brown @ Jacksonville
D Kyle Vanden Bosch @ Tampa Bay
D Thomas Howard @ San Diego
D Derrick Brooks vs. Tennessee

My opponents starting lineup:
QB Tom Brady @ Dallas
WR Wes Walker @ Dallas
WR Bobby Engram vs. New Orleans
RB Brian Westbrook @ NY Jets expected to play but limited
TE Todd Heap vs. St. Louis
W/R Marion Barber III vs. New England
K Jay Feely @ Cleveland
D Mario Williams @ Jacksonville
D Justin Tuck @ Atlanta
D Takeo Spikes @ NY Jets

2007's Updated Championship Predictions: Red Sox, Suns, and Avalanche. The dream has flown out the window. Huskers and Rams suck, but they are still my favorite teams.
