Danny Woodhead - Chadron State. Originally from North Platte, Solich said "no" to him coming out of high school. The NFL awaits Woodhead now.
Bill Callahan would've scooped him up and utilized his talents in the WCO. |

While he has been a success at all levels so far, ending his high school and college careers as all time rushing leaders, it will be interesting to see how he fares on Sundays. Is he really that good, or were the defenses that he faced really that bad? Is this kid the next Barry Sanders? Does he leap over the likes of Reggie Bush, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Larry Johnson? We'll find out next year. If my Rams keep losing and get the first pick of the draft, maybe they pick him to be in the same backfield with Steven Jackson.

| ESPN says a Falcon's scout went to Chadron and timed him 4.4 in the forty - speed won't be his problem and neither will power. Size will. He is small & the NFL is full of huge athletic freaks that will punish him beyond anything he has seen thus far. He reminds me of Tim Dwight from Iowa. |

| Woodhead is too small to be a every down back. Sproles from K State, Ross from Nebraska were all short but thick. Woodhead only weighs in the 180 area. |
