Even though I wish I was wrong, I am going to say: Missou 45 Huskers 31 It will be a you score, we score game for 3 quarters before history repeats itself and the Tigers run away in the 4th quarter with 2 TD's. They've owned Nebraska in the 4th quarter the last 2 times in Columbia and today unfortunately will not be any different. On a side note, I caught some of the USC/Washington game last weekend and I swear USC was running the exact same plays on the Huskies. Their RB's simply bounce off of defenders or make them miss, but also NU was exposed with terrible tackling fundamentals also in the open field.

so much for mizzou beating no one. illinois just knocked off wisconsin and takes over as the 1st place team in the big 10. i'm salivating waiting to see what mizzou does to the skers tonight. i also can't wait for nebraska to get killed in lawernce. ku proved me wrong and is for real. even with this loss ksu will still beat nebraska in lincoln. enjoy the rest of your season sker fan the way i've had to enjoy notre dame's.
can't wait to see the pic of scalped man.

Point 1: KU's win was one (1) game, there are many left to play. Point 2: No matter what occurs the rest of the season, it will never compare to Notre Dame's situation.

Does Notre Dame have a team?? The big 12 is just a tough conference where any one can win in any given week. Sunburn, welcome back. I don't think THAT distinction is limited to the "tough" Big 12, although they've had their share of stunners. It is happening throughout college football. There have been more top 25 teams beaten by the underdogs this year than any year I can remember. The landscape in college football has changed. Make way for the USF's, and the Kentucky's and Hawaii and Kansas, and Indiana and Illinois. How about Boston College and Cincinatti? What about Arizona State or last year's cinderella's Rutgers and Louisville. And what about Colorado beating No. 3 Oklahoma. Or Appalachian State defeating No. 5 Michigan. No. 4 Florida losing to unranked Auburn? And yes, another Big 12 K-State upending Texas only to lose to Kansas today. And how can we forget the winless Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. The playing field today is more level than it has ever been. Parity is alive and well in college football and the only one's who aren't liking it are those who gamble on college football. It is exciting from week to week. I'm just waiting for Iowa to stun somebody. I think I'll be waiting til next year on that one however. |

| Mizzou just got robbed. That was a TD catch at the end of the half. No question - MU should be up 24 - 6 at the half. Hope it pisses them off and they open it up and go on a crazy scoring drive in the 2nd. |

| Fvck off Comic Punk! You are a hideous character, ala Intermural & Legless. I'll refer to you three effectionately from here on out as: Group B. Group A is Blackshirt, SCW, Egami, Crit, Hawksquawk, & a few others. You are ripe off the fantasy tree, maybe you could go back into hiding for awhile. |

I may be in 'group b' but I was right. Pretty bad when the World Herald jumps on the sker-bashing bandwagon. http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_page=1200&u_sid=10150009 Or, maybe they're just trying to inject some realisim into myopic 'sker fan's Sunday. Either way, 41-6 drops NU out of the top 25. MU had 2x as many total yards, almost 2x passing, and almost 3x rushing yards. Can't blame the loss on turnovers - NU only had 1. Blame it on poor coaching, poor performance, poor conditioning - whatever - regardless of how you spin it, NU was out classed and out played. Say hello to ending the season ranked just above ISU in the big 12 north. (Also, was the d-line really winded by the end of the 1st MU series? I thought I saw them standing with their hands on their hips down by the goal line. Sure sign of poor conditioning if they're winded that quickly.) |

You know it's bad when the Huskers best offensive play of the night, the pass to Purify that went down inside the 5 yard line and was called back for holding, doesn't count. The next best plays by the Huskers, the punting game, 3 inside the 20, 2 inside the 10 and 1 inside the 5.
For those of you wondering about my sig line...It's just a far-fetched dream. The Huskers and the Rams, no championships. Rams haven't scored an offensive TD in 30 possessions, their O-Line is in tatters, they sat Bulger with 2 broken ribs and put in Frerotte to start this week with the hopes of turning it around but he's just going to be fresh meat for whatever defense is playing against them, the Cardinals this week. The Defense should have had Romo for a 25 to 30 yard sack last weekend and he pulled one out of his ass and got the first down because the initial 2 guys who had a chance at getting him gave up on the play after he made them run 5 more yards. I told my best friend who is a cheesehead and calls me every Sunday to rub in his win and my loss, that if the Rams have the Packers on the schedule, if the Rams win only that game all season long, their year is a success in eyes. They are still my favorite team and I'll be the first to admit that they suck, just as I did with all of their 3-13 seasons before Warner came out of nowhere and led them to the promised land.
The Huskers...well I hope they can eek out a couple of more wins, but I just don't know. They are in a serious downhill spiral and everyone that is left on the schedule is going to have their games of the season against us if something serious doesn't change for the better. Callahan better start getting Brandon Witt some playing time in the rest of these games, or else on top of a terrible season this year, next year will start off with a QB with no game experience. IMO Bill should have put him in for all of the 4th quarter last night, so as not to risk injury to Keller and get Witt some game experience. At least I still have the hopes of the Red Sox...and the Avs and Suns still have a long season to go.

You forgot mine. I predicted Missou 45, NU 31...so I was 29 points off if I figured correctly. 2007's Championship Predictions: All of my favorite teams: Huskers, Rams, Suns, Avalanche, and Red Sox. Hey, can't a guy dream??? |
