| 0-13 when trailing at the half. That's a sign of a great coach. |

If you hate Callahan, I'm not going to stop you ------ but he's not the reason Nebraska lost today. I blame him for last year's loss, but not tonight's. USC is WAYYYYYYYY better than Nebraska -- much more than I thought. Heading into the game, I was worried about their speed. That lived up to expectations, as they were all over the field, but what shocked me....and the Huskers....was how physically dominating the Trojans were. They destroyed Nebraksa at the line of scrimmage. They were stronger, smarter, and faster. We're a tier or two behind that team.
It's 4:40 AM, and I'm just getting back from Lincoln, so my intoxication might dominate the synposis of the game. BUt I won't make excuses other than -- the better team won. Let's kill Ball State next week, or whoever we play next.
As crappy as tonight was for Nebraska, at least we're not Iowa or Notre Dame --- i.e. the laughing stocks of college football. We're just a good team that lost to a great team. |

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up! |

We're just a good team that lost to a great team. The correct analogy would be you're not a very good team and you had your ass handed to you by maybe just maybe one of the top 5 teams. Once again to overcome your shortcomings you inject some reference to Iowa or Notre Dame into a post concerning the pathetic coaching job Calliecan't has done in the last 4 years. Next response I expect to hear from you will undoubtedly contain a reference to Council Bluffs or the imaginary amounts of money you claim to make (as if anyone really cares although I doubt you're telling the truth, but nonetheless who cares). |

I've admitted all Nebraska's shortcomings. USC was a much better team. We're not back; don't know how much more clearly I can say that.
I understand why you don't want to talk about the Irish or the Hawkeyes though.
I'm just waiting for you to brag about hanging out with people like me (Creighton grads) again. I still appreciate that you look up to me so much. |

it was an epic a$$ kicking, right in the Huskers own back yard. I mean USC letting off the gas in the fourth allowed the Huskers to save a little bit of face in the final score. But after all the we're back and bring on USC smack running after the Huskers rolled Nevada this game was the ultimate proof that Nebraska is not even close to being in that same catagory as a USC or LSU or Florida or Oklahoma. Huskers *might* be a top 25 team, definitely not top 10.

I don't recall ever bragging about hangout out with you, most likely when I do go out the likes of you will be the one serving us and hoping for a good tip from the big spenders. So if being my waiter means that you hang out with me (in your mind) then so be it. |

Nebraska is still better than Iowa. Point blank...USC is #1 in the Nation. Iowa State was winless and relied on field goals. Iowa is hapless this season. Nebraska will still beat some good teams and finish the year with a smile. Iowa's schedule was favorable to winning this season and they have thus far showed nothing. Oh wait a minute...I almost forgot about the domination of Syracuse. lol! |

Sorry to disappoint you D. I just have no faith in this coaching staff anymore. Four years in and they've shown me NOTHING. |
