You know...in all honesty, I am not sure this "spying" should even be that big of a deal and I am not even a Pats homer.

Wonder what Matt's take is on this. I've heard a number of Pats fans really down about it. Personally, I'd be like "big deal".

I dont think the taping of signals is the whole story. I think they are looking into the radio signals more than anything, seeing how much of this was happening during the game...the stealing of the signals and then sending the information by radio to coaches....now that is a HUGE deal.

But, in Matty's great way, BIG DEAL is all he said, about the "best team in football" I'd argue that the Colts, Saints, Chargers would beg to differ you f'ing homer....

Regardless, I still think it's all being blown out of proportion.

There is a really incredibly simple solution to this. They do it on offense...it's called give the playcaller a wristband with numbered plays and jumble the numbers between each game or even at halftime. I did learn something from playing at college.

What's intriguing is that stealing plays isn't illegal if you are doing it via clipboard or conventional methods...just not allowed to use cameras. Apparently the caveot here is using technology and not actually the stealing of the signals.
