Ok, i think i got 3 out of the 4 teams right (Damn Cubs). WE are left with:
Boston vs Tampa Bay
Manny(Dodgers) vs Phillies
With the National League, this pick is easy, i got Dodgers, hand down. I am even thinking sweep. Manny is just unstopable. Best hitter in either league, and is has been pretty clutch in the post season.
Now the American League is a little different. I think both teamsa re pretty evenly matched up. I really want to say Boston hear, but Tampa has the home field. Now correct me if i am wrong but i beleive Boston lost 8 of 9 in Tampa this year. Even though i want to see a Boston and Manny Reunion, i am going to take Tampa Bay in 7.
So who do you all have?
On a side note did anybody else watch the Boston game last night? For any one out there who think the catcher dropped ball on the suicide squeeze you are wrong. The tag was made well before the ball was dropped. Good call by the ump. Now i am really suprised Bay Score from second in the bottom of the 9th to win it. I thought that ball was way too shallow to score him, but i guess that's why i am not a MLB coach. |

Manny against the Red Sox would be a ratings blast but I would much rather see Tampa go to the World Series and even win it if it could happen...and it could.
The only team I see not having a chance at winning it all of these 4 is Philadelphia. |

Wes, the reason Bay was able to score from second is that the hit was kind of a wimpy roller through the right side. If it was a solid line drive he would have been held up, or out by a mile. As he said in the post game "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good"
Also, I agree. the tag was made well before the ball came out of the glove. That's poetic justice though. That suicide squeeze was completely idiotic. |

| well there goes my sweep. I'm suprised Philli came back in that one. It will be intrestingto see how LA reacts to the loss, and if they bounce right back. I still have the Dodgers moving on. |
