Geez, Dukie...you spin so hard from Iowa to Seattle to Nebraska it's a wonder your eyeballs don't shoot out from their sockets.
And you're half right -- you DO get a nice little trophy for being conference champion. Finishing 10th in your conference, though, doesn't get you much more than the opportunity to be the butt of everybody else's jokes (except, of course, for fans of the 11th place school...who have to feel REAL rotten about finishing behind IoWHAT???). |

I force all of you to spend so much of your time responding to my intellectual message threads that I almost (not really) feel bad that none of you can come up with any original sports related threads of your own. I think I must own all of you to an extent, as I can pretty much make you respond whenever I want. But that's just my opinion as most of my posts are just my opinion, that is what a message board is all about isn't it? |

Who is taking all the time? It appears like you are the one who obviously can't post from work, because I am sure the Admin has blocked access, is investing time each night to come back and make sure he replies to each and every counter attack.
Meanwhile, the majority of us are killing time during our normal work day...for instance, right this moment I am pretending to care, but ignoring an annoying sales rep that I have no intention of buying anything from. |

I post after the days work is done still making 6 figures a year while most of you are losing your ass and you will continue to lose your ass for at least 9 months into the next adminstration. I make money and still have time to mock you, that must really chap your ass!!!! |

I see one team on the remaining schedule who will possibly play for the National Championship. Unlike Kool Aid drinking Husker fan I will take the Hawkeyes games one week at a time. |

Correct about Penn State having a shot at the marbles....and they will absolutely destroy Iowa.
As far as the rest of your post....par for the course. I knew you would not capitalize on a chance to stick your neck out.
I'll do it for you....Iowa will lost 4 out of those 5 games. With some luck...maybe only lose 3 of the 5. |

| Purdue may be a win. Other then that the rest are losses for the cockeyes. All in all it will be a solid season for KL and he should get a contract extention. |

| Frankly, the Big 10 is full of mediocre teams this year, so I could actually see Iowa potentially pulling off 3 or 4 of those games, but I'm not sure that is saying much. |

Dwight, Wisconsin was hyped early on and hasn't shown anything. Illinois was also hyped early on and isn't living up to it. Purdue is Purdue and Minnesota is probably the best team out of those 4. Penn State is the real deal. That offense is high powered and the D looks pretty solid too. All I am saying is the Big 10 is weak this year. I said it from the onset of the season and it is bearing out each and every Saturday. Iowa is also a mediocre team, and in my opinion, fits into mix with those 4 teams. Those games will be a toss up when they come around. Aside from Penn State, I see Minnesota being the bigger test for Iowa, but of course I could be wrong. |

So far Nebraska has lost three games all to top 20 teams and 2 in the top 10
17. Virginia Tech 5-1 540 11. Missouri 5-1 984 7. Texas Tech 6-0 1,210
The Hawkeyes lost to Pitt, Northwestern & Michigan State. 20. Michigan State 6-1 371 23. Pittsburgh 4-1 182 Others Receiving Votes=Northwestwern
An Iowa VS Nebraska at this point would be a fun game to watch. |
