• Illinois QB Juice Williams set a Michigan Stadium record with 431 yards of total offense (passing: 310 yards, 2 TDs; rushing: 121 yards/2 TDs), which also tied the most ever by a Michigan opponent anywhere.

OUCH!!!!!

• It was the most points the Illini have ever scored against the Wolverines and matches the famed Red Grange game in 1924 as Illinois' most lopsided victory against Michigan.

OUCH!!!!!!

• The 45 points were the most by an opponent in Ann Arbor since Florida State scored 51 in 1991.

DOUBLE OUCH!!!!!

• At 2-3, Michigan is off to its worst five-game start since 1967 (1-4).

PHEW!!!!!!!

Michigan has some work to do to win enough games to play in a 34th straight bowl in Rich Rodriguez's debut season.
