What I've said from the beginning is that Iowa just doesn't have a good football team this year. Crit can probably digest that, Dukester will blow a vessel.
Listen, Nebraska will be better than last year and you can bank on that. They'll play hard even when they lose. Iowa has two QB's and neither one of them can play. They are mistake prone and will shoot themselves in the foot in games they should win.
And then yesterday my words became prophetic. Iowa shot themselves in the foot and Nebraska plays hard and loses.
No excuses needed in Lincoln this year...there is more than excuses needed in Iowa City. Explanations and terminations are the order of business there.
Ole' Kirk would be a nice assistant in Lincoln. :-) |

That is a picture of Joe Ganz. He played his heart out and lost a close game that he knew his team and program really needed. Iowa isn't currently experiencing that type of pride. They are exhibiting the exact opposite. They are playing like they do not want to win.

Is that the truth? Maybe you spoke too soon. I know you won't come here and give credit for the Huskers going into the backyard of the 7th ranked team in the land almost taking a win home.
Iowa looked okay today...but then again they played Indiana. Ball St destroyed Indiana and they aren't Texas Tech. |
