Wake Forest was an incredibly well-coached team. I thought we were much better than they were before the game, and apparently didn't give Wake enough credit. We were fortunate to leave with a win, which, against the defending ACC champion, is something to be proud of.
Callahan going for it on 4th and 2 in the final quarter was an awful decision -- especially with the play he decided to run (one that hadn't worked the entire game). Sometimes that guy just has brainfarts.
USC is likely adding a half dozen misdirection plays to the playbook, b/c for whatever reason, Nebraska can't stop that. I think our defense is very talented, athletic, etc., but we haven't proven to be disciplined. If that isn't addressed this week in practice, USC wins going away. |
