after seeing wake forest's qb and passing numbers against bc i recend my earlier prediction and now say:

nu 31
wf 34

husker d backs will burn like a dry forrest.

How many yards did they run for? I'll save you the time. Two yards. Yeah, one dimensional offenses win a lot of games against more talented teams.

Like most domer fans you obviously don't know dick about football.

i know enough to get you and others like you upset. 2 years ago when i predicted a loss in lawrence everyone said i didn't know anything about football then either.

My, it looks like Logan has a new fanboy. How cute.

Anyway...NU should win by at least two touchdowns, but I have to think Cally will try something boneheaded that will keep it closer.

Let's put a friendly $20 wager on this.

You can give me NU and 2.5 points.

I'll wager $100 that Notre Dame loses 7 games this season? This bet is only available for Logan.

I am not sure I'd take that bet if I were offered.

Nebraska 31, Wake Forest 17

and, while I'm at it, since this has also turned into a Notre Dame thread
Penn State 30, Notre Dame 14

And, for egami,
Michigan 37, Oregon 34

"Perhaps the worst thing that can happen is to reach into the refrigerator and come out with something that you cannot identify at all. You literally do not know what it is. Could be meat, could be cake. Usually, at a time like that, I'll bluff. "Honey, is this good?" "Well, what is it?" "I don't know. I've never seen anything like it. It looks like...meatcake!" "Well, smell it." (snort, sniff) "It has absolutely no smell whatsoever!" "It's good! Put it back! Somebody is saving it. It'll turn up in something." Thats what frightens me. That someone will consider it a challenge and use it just because it's in there." -- George Carlin

I said at the start of the season I was afraid we'd have to score about 40 ppg to make it to a BCS game...I am starting to fear I was right.

PSU 33 - ND 9
UM 31 - OR 24

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

Nebraska over Wake Forest 45-27. Offense will be more balanced, at least 300 yards rushing and 300 passing.
Yeah Yeah...this red laced koolaid is sure tasting good this morning but I do believe that this will happen.

I'll go Penn State 38, Golden Domers 14...Charlie is gonna be complaining of alot of tightness of chest, shortness of breath and tingling left arm symptoms this season.

Michigan 24, Oregon 27 with the Ducks involved in probably the most controversial play of the season as they were last season with Oklahoma.

Gentlemen,

I'm afraid neither one of these teams is very good from what I watched today, but especially Nebraska. I think Callahan is the genius of "over-hype" ala Brian "the Boz" Bozworth.

Counting the Herd one hoof at a time.

Crit,
My prediction on this very thread was 34-28. So I thought Wake would bring it, and they did. Home field, already 0-1, last years ACC champs, they had everything to play for...NU might have been looking ahead a bit too. Realistically, I think some very authentic flaws in the team were exposed. Depth in D-Line, Strength of O-Line, QB-to-Receiver communication and defensive back reads standout in my mind. Strengths appeared to be running backs, linebackers & kicking game. Solid. We'll need some help to beat USC, fumbles, big plays & a boisterous crowd would help the Sker cause. Nonetheless, Logan & Dukester cannot bring too much smack....Irish are 0-2 and the Hawkeyes aren't setting the world on fire either.

DimWitMan,

Is that the train whistle Dukester hears?

I beg to differ inregard to your comments regarding the Hawkeyes, Syracuse gained their initial first down somewhere in the middle of the 3rd quarter, the outcome of the game was never in doubt.

Talk about not setting the world on fire, if anything Sam Keller has not demonstrated being worthy of being a 7th round or lower draft pick.

By next week you will be lamenting the fact that Zac Taylor is not pulling the trigger in Nerdraskaville!

Syracuse was 4-8 last year including a 20-10 home loss to Wake Forest. Syracuse is 0-2 now and got blown out in their opener.
No excuses in Skerville! We either win or lose, jocks are left on the field. Can't say the same can ya Dukester? You left yours over at Logan's. I guess it's all the same, neither of you is a "in-demand commodity" in the single world anyways.

How many ways can you spell overrated without using the letters H-U-S-K-E-R-S?

I hear a train acoming and I'm not referring to a Johnny Cash song!
