Total Offense-- 119 (last in Div 1A) Scoring Offense-- 117 (ahead of only syracuse and Fla Int) Rushing Offense-- 119(last-directly behind North Texas High) Passing Offense-- 107 (glimmer of hope) Pass Efficiency- 102
i'll bet he gets there before beau does. so add that one to our list. and enjoy the game saturday. i know i will. |

Game 3: at Michigan. It's as unpredictable a series as there is in all of college football, but come on -- the Wolverines are at least as loaded as the Irish thought they were last year, right Logan?
Gotta be 0-3.
Game 4: at home vs. Michigan State. Sparty has won two of the last five in this series and should be at least 2-1 with a weak early schedule. Coin Flip… Let's say 1-3 anyway.
Game 5: at Purdue. The Boilermakers, who return pretty much everybody, went up and down the field in South Bend last season in a loss. 1-4 now.
Game 6: at UCLA. It took a 40+-yard touchdown pass in the final minute for ND to beat the Bruins last season. UCLA will be vastly improved; the Irish will be 1-5.
Game 7: at home vs. Boston College BC has a wicked defensive front seven and a stud senior quarterback that's 1-6.
Game 8: at home vs. USC. I'm not here to insult Logan so I will stop short at this point. The good news: 1-7 is, uh, worlds better than 0-8.

| Yeah, that ND vs Michigan game will be fun to watch. At least in NU's case, if they do lose, at least it is to a quality team, #1 team at that.....can the domers say the same? Front Butt is gonna look funny on camera all day with that just Sh!t on look. |

I would imagine in South Bend, the daily, weekly, yearly talk is over the Domers...why should it be any different here? | i will have fun with notre dame's season. i'll enjoy watching a young team improve under a good coach. at least i can look at my team realistically and not make stupid azz posts like they'll beat usc 19-17. do you really believe that or is that just the red kool aid meth talking? seriously man, take a step back and check into reality. btw i have no hard on for callahan. i just realize a bad coach when i see one. if he were in a division of a conference that had any talent he would have a losing record. it's a miracle of god that team finds a way to win in spite of him, like on saturday. even vershon jackson says so. but then again who have they beat that's worth a damn since he took over? lloyd carr? and he almost pissed that one away. if it weren't for his stupid fake punt call he might have beaten auburn in the cotton bowl. when notre dame loses it's because of a gap in talent. not because charlie made a stupid call. |

Yes I do. SC is overrated and young at key positions, and NU plays a lot better at home.
