If last night was any gauge, then I am sca-rewed as a Chiefs fan. It's so bad the mods over at ChiefsPlanet have re-named the board PanicPlanet. I may as well send Egami his $20 now.

Man, Bugs, after week 2 I was kind of questioning having made the bet. I knew the odds were with you when I made it, but man...now that I see Oakland almost respectable on some levels and the Chiefs...well, yeah you said it...

If they don't get a passing game going I don't think it's going to matter how many yards LJ rushes for in 2007.

I thought the Chiefs could go 8 - 8 this year but 6 - 10 is beginning to look more realistic.

Some even think KC might get the Number 1 pick in the 2008 draft.

I am guessing Cleveland will be honored with the #1 pick next year.

I think if Cleveland wants to truly fix their problems they draft a RB and pay Bill Cowher whatever it takes. I believe they've probably got their franchise QB. He'll be at least as good as Roethlisberger has been.

Bugs, at least they are doing the right thing giving Huard the starting job now. He put up respectable numbers last season, really. I still question their o-line strength and while Huard will do he is a temporary solution. Croyle needs to get up to speed this season or else they need to be thinking QB in next years draft.

Kinda funny...I was telling my buddy, who is a big Chiefs fans, here a couple years ago that by the time they get the D rebuilt it'll be time to do the O. That is looking more and more the case.

And if Cleveland gets the #1 pick, who do you think they should take?

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

I would probably take a RB if there was one that merited the selection. If not, I'd trade down and fix defense.

So, you really think Dallas is going to just give back the pick they acquired in the Brady Quinn deal?

Cleveland doesn't have a first rounder.

Well, as you should know, the #1 pick will transcend the draft.

Obviously they've traded away their first-rounder...so, with their #1 pick next year I'd do just what I said to do in the first reply.

I didn't say they are picking #1 overall. I just said their performance will likely earn them that spot.

Oh, that's really what you meant in this thread, huh? You weren't talking about Cleveland in the context of drafting first overall?

Good grief.

I was talking about Cleveland sucking this year, which translates to their draft position as a secondary off-topic issue at best.

Guess you should of specified #1 overall, because I figured it was obvious they traded Quinn for the 2008 #1...should of known that rather than trying to seriously have a mature conversation you were just trying to bait me on a technicality.
