Disgraced basketball referee Tim Donaghy told investigators in the NBA betting probe that relationships among officials, coaches and players "affected the outcome of games," his attorney said. The league said the charges were unfounded.


Attempt to save face? Or is there merit to these allegations?

It'll be interesting to see...I am not a big fan of Congress getting in on professional sports related controversy, but if this starts proving out to be true it'll cascade into federal indictments and potentially more.

Not that I care about the NBA, but I hope Donaghy is wrong.

We all know franchise movement is fixed.
Stern still manages to keep a straight face when he says that scumbag Clay Bennett negotiated in good faith.
