Some teacher now, all of the sudden, has a moral revelation about a padded grade from this kid's Freshman year of high school? Wow.

Moral high ground must take 6 years, a National Championship, and enterance into the NBA draft for it to materialize.

KU has nothing to fear here. There is no way they could have known.

I was listening to Matt on this subject, and he states that IHO, KU cannot be reprimanded here, yet he thinks they should have to forfeit all the games he played in because he theoretically was ineligible.

So here's the deal. The NCAA passed the kid through the NCAA Clearinghouse for eligibility purposes. KU offered the scholarship and played the kid. Why in the hell should they have to forfeit anything? They played by the rules.

Matt states that they played an ineligible player, thus they have to endure the repercussions. Are universities not supposed to play scholarship players now, for fear that if they win a NC they will have to give it up because the NCAA f#cked up? That's not right.

KU should not have to fear anything in this situation. The kid has attended 2 years at KU and has remained eligible. He carries a 3.0 GPA. If KU fudged records it would be a different story here, but this all happened prior to his enrolling at KU.

Matt is also trying to liken this to Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo at USC. They are not even remotely similar in that the alleged violations at USC occured while the students were AT USC.

Matt, seriously, you're the dumbest person on the planet...

The NCAA botched this, not KU.

And, besides, the public screwl system (I can't stand Limbaugh, but he's dead on about that issue) graduates hundreds of thousands annually that have no business graduating.

They say...people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate.

And you have on cue demonstrated what I have hallucinated from day one in regards to you.

I actually created Fergie in part to attack you Crit without you knowing it was me. Some of your takes were so lame that I almost came at you as myself a few time...

matt is such a doofus. Kansas should forfeit games and be punished for something they had no knowledge of? okay, way off base there. the funny part is that earlier in the week he was crying about "spygate" and the patriots actions. matt never calls for any punishment or haivng wins/super bowl titles taken away or anything of the kind. in fact, he claims the patriots could not have benefitted very much from the illegal tapes. his favorite team is actually caught cheating and he cries. Kansas does nothing wrong but matt wants the National Title taken away. wow, what consistency. what a laugh.

Cut Perrault some slack...He was at UMass while Cal was there so he has good reason to be worried about ineligible players tarnishing a university.

Indeed, it was a shame that poor Marcus Camby had to take a paycut when he went to the Raptors.

"Perhaps the worst thing that can happen is to reach into the refrigerator and come out with something that you cannot identify at all. You literally do not know what it is. Could be meat, could be cake. Usually, at a time like that, I'll bluff. "Honey, is this good?" "Well, what is it?" "I don't know. I've never seen anything like it. It looks like...meatcake!" "Well, smell it." (snort, sniff) "It has absolutely no smell whatsoever!" "It's good! Put it back! Somebody is saving it. It'll turn up in something." Thats what frightens me. That someone will consider it a challenge and use it just because it's in there." -- George Carlin
