Let me guess, is that the "prosperity" of your argument? Retard, seriously just quit trying to sound more intellectual than you've already disproven yourself to be.

Fergie's argument is clear to me, he's talking about making sure that the competition is fair to ALL involved. I can relate with that.

I don't however see why this guy should'nt be allowed to run if he can compete.

D-

I understand what Fergie's position is. I had no problem understanding that from the "get-go". But you can't just keep throwing out the "equal playing field" card and not expound on what is not equal in this particular situation.

He goes on to say that he has no problem with the prosthetic devices used, and that he is MORE concerned about the unfairness for "Oscar the legless" and THAT is why he doesn't think he should be able to compete; which to me, seems to be a bunch of bunk.

I don't get the "David and Goliath" analogies where he claims an unlevel playing field because David is too small, or too weak, or too disabled.

I will ask one final time. If "David" doesn't have a problem with it, and he is the disadvantaged, yet he still wants his shot at sleying "Goliath", then what in the f#cking world is the harm?

So critter, if I had 8 fingers, 3 legs, (I do) 7 toes, 4 feet, 3 eyes, half a nose, no nuts and hair on my knees.

Do you think it would be fair for me to line up in the NFL against those neanderthals of today just because I think I can and have the heart to attempt to?

Try and be honest for once and don't angle.

Fergie,

You continue to skew the argument. All along, I have said, if the person has a handicap, yet can COMPETE, who are we to argue?

If this troll-like "individual" you describe (adding that you have some characteristics that are similar) got signed by an NFL team, I would venture to guess they feel he can do what they are asking of him.

In your little boxing scenario, I stated that if the lightweight boxer could COMPETE at the heavyweight class, who are we to say he can't?

If a down syndrome kid can COMPETE in a world class weightlifting comptetition, who are we to say he can't?

If a legless guy qualifies by COMPETING against his peers, who are we to say he cannot?

If a one legged wrestler can COMPETE, by getting one win away from All-America status as a freshman, who are we to say he can't?

I have never ever stated that they should let people enter competitions merely because they want to.......but I think you know that already.

I would most certainly back you if you were wanting to enter a turkey pot pie making contest, even with your mental disability.

I mean face it, we let Fergie/Dman/Omahan/Dwight/WTFever post here and he is clearly not mentally up to the challenge. Good thing we don't discriminate against idiots.

Of course we don't...we'd have nobody to beat down here (outside of Perrault) if we did.
