Rookie RB's have got to be licking their chops.

I wonder if Benson was out boating with one of the new rookies that had character flags.

If Ricky had been there, no one would have been intoxicated. They would have been high.

Weed can give you a calming feeling.

Exactly what I was thinking...I was envisioning a Pig Pen-like aura around him, but instead of dirt...more of a ganja-like aura.

Best cinematic interpreation of pot smoking, IMO, came from Mel Brooks' "History of the World Part 1":

First Roman Soldier: Do you care if it falls?

Second Roman Soldier: What?

First Roman Soldier: The Roman Empire?

Second Roman Soldier: F**k it...

Well, Cedric Benson is at it again. This time, driving a car while drunk, although according to him, this one isn't true either.

Maybe the Bears can trade him for a QB?

I smell a stop in Kansas City is on the horizon for Cedric!!!!

It's my fault," said first-year Nebraska coach Bo Pelini. "Damn right, yes, I'm embarrassed. I apologized to the team. I apologize to the state of Nebraska. I apologize to everyone associated with Nebraska football.
"It's my responsibility. I was hired to do a job and I didn't do the job, I'm just not a very good coach.

If nothing else, I sense an endorsement deal for Old English coming.

"Perhaps the worst thing that can happen is to reach into the refrigerator and come out with something that you cannot identify at all. You literally do not know what it is. Could be meat, could be cake. Usually, at a time like that, I'll bluff. "Honey, is this good?" "Well, what is it?" "I don't know. I've never seen anything like it. It looks like...meatcake!" "Well, smell it." (snort, sniff) "It has absolutely no smell whatsoever!" "It's good! Put it back! Somebody is saving it. It'll turn up in something." Thats what frightens me. That someone will consider it a challenge and use it just because it's in there." -- George Carlin

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any team that needs a drunken running back, but I'm sure there is somebody out there.

Thank goodness Lovey had the foresite to draft Matt Forte instead of going after a another bottom tier QB. The guy must be psychic.

The Rams drafted a drunk once...wait a minute -- that was Larry Phillips. He beat women, not bottles.

Nothing wrong with beating women...oh wait, am I biased for being a Steelers fan?
