So i have been to a few baseball stadiums, KC's the old Busch Stadium, and Boston's, each of them had somthing unique and i like them all for differnet reasons. With KC, they were my first major league baseball game i ever attended. I was like 8, and i love the fountains, and i still doe. I think it was a more relaxed baseball atmosphere, Busch stadium was just huge and electric. Boston had the history. I remember siting next to the green monster, and let me say, it is a damn big wall. What stadiums have you all been to, and what are your favorites. For me it's KC, just b/c it was the first one i went to

I've been to a bunch...I'll just list my favorites...

Wrigley
Fenway
Yankee Stadium
Astrodome

Worst ones...

Old Kingdome
Metrodome
Old Tiger Stadium

Imo, the coolest in MLB by far is Wrigley Field just in terms of atmosphere and history...still one of my favorite places to visit.

Wrigley is a shrine. It's the coolest atmosphere for a baseball game (and maybe sporting event) I've ever attended. Seeing a playoff game at Wrigley (the game before Bartman became famous) was something I'll never forget.

I've been to about 12 stadiums, and liked them all. If I had to list my least favorites, they'd be the Metrodome, the Astrodome and Comiskey Park. Old Candlestick was pretty neat, but the game I went to was freezing, so I chalk that up as a bad experience.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

Did anyone notice Mars and Buffet bought out Wrigley. Does anyone think a name change is in thw works. To me it would a shame to change the name. Aldo do they still have Save Ferris Day at Wrigley??

Ok, I've been to Royals Stadium, Coors Field, Busch Stadium, The Astrodome, The Metrodome, Dodger Stadium and "the Johnny". The domes just don't give you the feel of baseball, so I'd say they were my least 2 favorites. It has been years since I have been to Royals stadium and actually got to get down on the field. Dodger Stadium was pretty cool, just because its Dodger Stadium. Nothing real special. I guess my favorite 2 are Coors and Busch. Gee I wonder why?

Houston has the field with the hill and pole in it right? Can anyone tell me why they designed a field with a hill and a pole on the playing field.

I've never been to Minute Maid Park, but yeah, I guess it has a slopled warning track with flag pole in center field. No idea what the reasoning behind it is.

Not being a baseball fan I haven't been to many. As I mentioned in the other thread the K had a nice relaxed family friendly atmosphere which I enjoyed. The fountains are a nice touch as well, and much like Arrowhead the stadium design is timeless. OTOH, like Arrowhead, the place is starting to show it's age in certain areas, but those issues are currently being addressed. I'd definitely like to make a return visit once everything is completed, if not sooner.

The only other MLB stadium I've been to is the Metrodome, although I've only been to football games there, but I assume it's still the same dump when they play baseball there. I'll bet the air conditioning is nice to have in the summer though.

If I ever found myself in Chicago I'd probably go check out a game at Wrigley Field. I once had an opportunity to see a game at Safeco Field in Seattle but I turned it down like a dumbass.
