I'm hoping for a Tony Romo.

And they may be too...it's going to be REAL interesting to see how they fill that 3rd QB position. It is possible it'll be an undrafted FA.

Speaking of which...

But there finally was some movement at the position Monday. The Bears signed Colorado State's Caleb Hanie and Southern Illinois' Nick Hill as undrafted free agents. It's likely one of them will stick as the third quarterback.

Bottom line, and I can't say that I agree with it, is that apparently Lovie is going to try to give these two guys (Grossman and Orton) an opportunity to compete with a better sourrounding cast. If neither steps up, I look for them to make a move for a long-term QB solution next year, either via offseason acquisitions or via the draft or both.

I really just don't get it all...in my mind they've both displayed their potential. Especially Grossman. I know it's hard in that they invested that top pick on him, but at some point you've got to cut your losses. Personally, I would've axed him going into 2008.

Honestly, I think Orton is done in the league after Chicago. I think Rex might get backup duty somewhere.

Maybe your wish will come true and you'll have the next undrafted stud.

Oh jeez...lol

Actually, though...I like Tebow where I never really liked Grossman coming out of college.

The Chiefs are still the Chiefs and with Herm at the Helm anything more than 5 wins this fall would be eye raising to say the least!

It's my fault," said first-year Nebraska coach Bo Pelini. "Damn right, yes, I'm embarrassed. I apologized to the team. I apologize to the state of Nebraska. I apologize to everyone associated with Nebraska football.
"It's my responsibility. I was hired to do a job and I didn't do the job, I'm just not a very good coach.
