Good QB, stand up guy, but not HoF material, imo.

I am actually desperate today.

They say...people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate.

I don't think he's HOF'er either. He's a very, very good NFL QB. That's not enough. Do you really think D-coordinators ever really had a lot of fear in facing him, like they do/did guys like Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, etc.? At this point, I'd say McNabb has a better shot, but even he has to do more.

As discussed in another thread, the HOF should be for the best of the best. McNair isn't there (and personally, I don't think it's close).

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

I think the only reason he is being mentioned as a potential HOF'er is because he sits in the top 3 of the ""double threat" guys with Fran Tarkington and Steve Young, both HOF'ers.

I agree, he is not.

Counting the Herd one hoof at a time.

How was that news a "bombshell?"

I live in Baltimore and read and see all the local stuff. It was no bombshell. He would've been traded had he not decided to quit. McNair just didn't have it anymore. A former warrior in days gone by...not any longer.

"BOMBSHELL" Man that was funny!

I will have a great afternoon. I have a great life. It's so great, I don't even have to go on message boards to pretend I'm something I'm not.

Jealous???

No, I'm not at all. Back on topic - Did you know Steve McNair's favorite hobby is wood carving/sculpting?

Evidently there could be some future in that for him. (not trying to be humorous) I read in the Baltimore Sun that he was very good at woodworking and has sold some nice pieces for a top dollar price.

You should be jealous. My life is so good, I don't have to make up new ones online.

Sucks that things couldn't have worked out better for you.

Well, being I did absolutely nothing today and don't have to worry about the bills getting paid as a result...I'd say things are fine. I didn't even go to the gym, might go later though.

Actually, (no attempt to slander) I thought of you earlier today. I was picking up my daughter from summer camp and Bob Seger's "Ramblin Gamblin Man" came on the radio. I turned it up and started rockin' and for some odd reason my thoughts turned to a drunken, slurring vranged leaving the casino after a hot night of winning and feeling every bit the Type A male role singing along and sipping beer poured into a Pepsi container to hide from the cops.

Sound like a scenario you would take part in?

Yeah right. You expect anyone to believe your garbage after all the lies you've told? Get real. You know you're nothing, which is why you have to lie all the time. It's TEXTBOOK.

As for your daydreaming about me earlier, I don't think I've been to the casinos in 2008. Can't wait to go back though. I do enjoy going. Nice try though!!

And of course you were thinking about me. You know you toss and turn at night. I got you to damn your daughter to hell. I'm on your mind CONSTANTLY!!!

Not constantly but it was funny thinking of you drunken and gamblin singing Bob Seger with no clue how to do things right. It really was funny.

I bet it was funny. Your imagination on here has come up with some doozies.

Nothing real, but real imaginative, fictional scenarios.

MEanwhile, I continue to deconstruct everything about you.

It's all verifiable, and that drives you CRAZY!

All of that energy and effort to come here tonite and be embarrassed. Why would you want to continue the charade at the cost of your dignity?

As I have schooled you on numerous occasions...you type it, you own it. I think Jackie Gleason (rest his soul) must've punched you to the moon. That would explain your oblivion.

The cost of my dignity?

That is funny. You're the one make up new ID's, and lying about them for months. YOu're the one damning children to hell. You're the one getting abused when we actually do talk sports b/c you are ignorant and uninformed.

Yet I'm losing my dignity? Sorry, chump....that is not consistent with the facts.

Tell your daughter yet?

I thought for sure you'd bag on the hypocrisy of him expending the same energy and effort to respond. Then again, you can only bag on him so much or you'll be typing all day...

That would just be ANOTHER verifiable, undeniable fact that Dwight would ignore. Whenever he tries to make up some ground by saying "I got you to respond", I feel like saying "Well, Einstein, I did too." But, as everyone can see, I don't need the same desperation that Dwight clings to.

If he could only see what everyone else can see, the poor guy wouldn't know what to do with himself. For his sake, he's better off being delusional.
