Can Keno put Providence back on the map? Is he the next Pitino?

Gee, I'm sure no one saw that one coming.

Counting the Herd one hoof at a time.

I figured someone would pursue him, but I wouldn't of guessed Providence.

Drake won't be a factor in the Mo Vall again until...um...about 2038.

Good for Davis. He knew he'd never be hotter than he is right now (Drake will not be good next year). Get the money while he can.

The problem is, I don't think anyone knows if he's a good coach yet. Drake had a walk-on that came out of nowhere to win player of the year, they hit a bunch of last second shots to win games, and strived in a down year for the MVC. Maybe he's the second coming, but I don't know if that can be deduced from what he's done so far.

Best of luck to him though.

Lunardi's first Bracketology is already out. Creighton is a 12-seed. Jay fans: book your flights.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

I agree, I think there is a lot to question yet regarding his actual coaching ability. I know I was impressed though with game time decisions I saw first hand, but that's one year of really running things solo.

Be interesting to see how he does out there.
