As important as that home run was, it wasn't nearly as key as the diving defensive stop he made to end the game. That was a great play, in a pressure situation, to keep the runner stranded on third, and preserve the Royals win -- against the World Series favorites -- for the second year in a row on Opening Day.

A friend of mine in Omaha has a neice that works as a waitress at a Country Club where Alex golfed just before he signed with KC a year or so ago.
He was in the bar, (don't know if he was of age then or not) and he accidently left his wallet there when he left and according to her, was in a state of panic when the bartender called him via his information found in the wallet.
Evidently he recently went back there and found the bartender and my friends neice and gave them both a c-note for there honesty.
I was thinking when I heard that story...only a c-note? |

Since I'm all about talking sports, and talking sports only, how about some Preseason predictions. Last season, I forecasted that Bobby Abreu would win the MVP. Uh...no. That was as accurate as having Tennessee win the NCAAs this year in the tourney pool. But, here are my completely worthless predictions:

AL East: Red Sox
AL West: Mariners
Wildcard: Yankees.
AL Champ: Detroit
NL Central: Cubs
NL East: Mets

The parental comparison would not be fair. It is clear you were raised by two (or maybe one) incompetent, floundering people that didn't offer you much in terms of morals, ethics or just everyday living skills.
The reason I recognize my behavior (and yours) is because I was taught right. Skills were taught in the home where I grew up. I think you were about 7 years old and already watching yourself. Bad, bad habits were formed in this formidable period.
It would appear that to this day you have not (even attempted) to unlearn those negative habits.

Which parent taught you that you can pick and choose when "truth" is appropriate?
Which parent taught you to ridicule the disabled and the recovering alcoholic?
Which parent taught you that when you are clearly intellectually overmatched, to challenge your opponent to fight, which would prove nothing?
Which parent taught you that when you are called out on your fighting challenge, to not show up, like the little b1tch that you (and perhaps your Father) obviously are/were?

Two things jump off that incredibly rehearsed post you just offered up.
1.) You have too much time and thought invested into your delusion of me wagering my daughter's soul.
2.) It is not only strange but absolutely shameful that you invest so much thought into children.
Regardless of how you twist it, it is you that brings the kids into your package of ugliness. They don't belong alongside a useless character like yourself.
Attempt to leave a kid alone, whether the kids is mine or anyone else's.
There is no excuse for you taking a child to the outhouse.

The fact that you took my post, and concentrated on Jeffrey Dahmer in the context you did, proves that you're just not a very smart guy. It's too bad you can't focus some of that attention you pay to LYING on READING COMPREHENSION.
