1. Reseeding the playoffs

Overall, I like the idea. I've thought this should be the way it works for pretty much the same reason.

2. Increasing the roster from 80 to 86 players

Indifferent on this one. Seems valuable for hedging against injuries.

3. Allowing defensive players to wear radio devices in their helmets

The Belichick Rule.

I have no problem with it. I've thought it should of been that way from the start.

4. Including specific field-goal attempt replays

This has been an issue with me for some time. Imo, any play that results in a potential change of the score should be reviewable, period.

egami, you are just cranking out the message board topics, i like it. i was getting tired of seeing the same topics over and over, and watching them gradually become a name calling thread. i like most of the changes except for the radio communication. personally, i'll a little old school when it comes to this and believe that no player on the field should be wired up. but that's just me

Well, I agree with the sentiment, actually. If I had my way I wouldn't wire them either, but being that's the rule and I don't see it being reversed...that's where I arrive at my advertised stance.

I read on another board that they were also considering getting rid of the force out rule, which I hate. As far as the rest, meh, I don't have a strong opinion on any of them other than FGs should be reviewable. I don't understand why they aren't already.

I would be getting rid of the force out rule if they get rid of needing two feet in bounds.

I like the increase of roster spots. The league has been floating that one around for awhile now but has yet to act on it. I think the teams need more fresh legs in the wings to make the game more competitive in the 4th Qtr.

Slow day in the tech world today I see, huh Midge.

If the offense is going to be wired, so too should the defense. The preference would be that neither were, but what ya gonna do?

Counting the Herd one hoof at a time.

Actually, I just threw some stuff out since the board was slow.

This has actually been a crazy week because right now I am organizing off site construction for a HA/DR server room, so I am on the phone ALL day.

I think part of the reason defense hasn't been wired in the past was just the nature of the NFL mindset to give offense the distinct advantage. Most off-season rule changes are advantages to the offense. However, in this case, Spygate has given the defense a real good reason to see some loving from the committee.

The "Hair Issue" has been tabled.

Defensive headsets passed.
