Well The Big 12 gets 6 in and only 2 to the sweet 16. This is the part in the game where everybody starts chanting overrated clap...clap...clap...clap...clap And don't give me the Texas A&M b.s. about they could have won because you can say that with any team that lost. It's the ACC, Big East and everybody else.

P.S. 4th place Southern Ill. Beat Oklahoma St. by 20 in the NIT and everybody said you don't want to play OK.ST right now. Man what if you had to play a team that wasn't hot.

Let's do the math: Sweet 16 means that 75% of the tournament's teams are now home. If the Big 12 still has 2 left and started out with 6, then that means that 66% of the Big 12 teams are gone.

So in comparison, the Big 12 isn't doing that bad. Besides, I didn't really give anyone but Texas & Kansas any real chance at going deep into the tourney anyway.

Exactly thats why they only deserved 4 in and not 6 because only 2 have a chance to do anything. And besides Texas will be out in there next game Kansas is there only hope and no way can they play with Carolina. If Kansas makes it that far Carolina by 20.

Florida who cares about Florida. If I was a CU fan I would be talking about the butt kicken they gave NU.

Generally when someone has an irrational hate for a team/conference it's rooted in their own team's/conference's inadequacies. Dukester is a good example of that.

Not even close to being accurate, I hate no team or conference, I simply call em as I see em.

It's my fault," said first-year Nebraska coach Bo Pelini. "Damn right, yes, I'm embarrassed. I apologized to the team. I apologize to the state of Nebraska. I apologize to everyone associated with Nebraska football.
"It's my responsibility. I was hired to do a job and I didn't do the job, I'm just not a very good coach.

Yea....see, this is the part in the game where you get T'd up for making a jack assed comment.

The overrated chant would be appropriate if....IF.....one of the Big XII teams had been upset. However, none of them were. In fact, K-State upset USC and Texas A&M took what many believe to be the best team in the country to the wire. UCLA was the better team and got it done. I agree. However, no one had them within 10 of UCLA.

ACC, Big East, and everyone else? What do you mean by that. If you mean these are the two conferences that took some of the worst upsets over the weekend, well that would be correct.

i can't believe that oklahoma wasn't able to beat a very, very good louisville team. and baylor lost? oh my god! texas a&m has ucla on the ropes (what about calling a foul when a&m drives on their last possession, obvious foul, wasn't it?) but loses the 2nd round game against what many people were calling the best overall team in the country. texas and KU make the sweet 16 and you are calling out the big XII? what a doofus you must be. saying KU can't handle north carolina? yeah, unc is so deep. KU doesn't have nearly the depth or number of big men who can run the floor. and KU's guard play, defense and overall shooting percentage definitely point to KU not being up to the task of playing unc. how many ACC teams are in the sweet 16? sorry, the original post was about the big XII being a letdown this season in the tournament. ucla knew they had a gift given to them as of their game on saturday, the whole bracket was blown up already. to lose the 2nd round game when they were pretty much guaranteed a final four would have been laughable. the fact that A&M played them so tight was commendable. ucla has much better talent and A&M is playing with a new line up with a 1st year coach. which conference do you think is the best? pac 10? standford and ucla dodging second round bulletts to advance? ACC? again, how many teams are left? big east? nice wins georgetown and pitt, i mean losses. did anyone really think oklahoma state was a "very hot" team? aren't they playing with a ton of freshmen and first year players at OSU? is anyone other than creighton or nebraska even looking at the NIT? did i see memphis struggle today to beat mississippis state and butler take tennessee to overtime? what is your point? you are so smart about calling after the fact games that you had to make this post? texas will handle stanford and memphis will see if they can beat michigan state before even thinking about game planning for the longhorns. KU will probably be facing louisville in the final four, maybe north carolina will make it but you seem to be so certain UNC will beat KU i won't even give them a pass since your ignorance has illuminated the fact that upsets are occurring and nothing is set in stone. just to recap......the big east has 3 of 8 teams remaining, the acc has 1 team left, the big 10 has 2 teams left and the pac 10 has 3 teams left while the big XII has 2 teams left. what is your point again? the pac 10 rules? if that is the case what happened to kansas state whooping up on usc?

Holy ca-rap, massive wall of text there. Anyway...

you are so smart about calling after the fact games that you had to make this post

OU hadn't even played at the time this thread was started so that's not necessarily true. Now whether that makes him a genius or a dumbass I'll let you decide.

if the post was written prior to oklahoma losing why is the main point about the big XII only having two teams left? perhaps the time is incorrect on this board. perhaps you should sign up to work some overtime if you have the time and energy to compare post times on this message board.

That's pretty much the point I was making. Either he was a dumbass for not knowing that OU hadn't played yet, or he was a genius because he knew they were going to lose.

perhaps the time is incorrect on this board.

Actually, for me it's correct before I log in, but once I log in it's wrong.

Perhaps you should blow me. It wasn't exactly rocket science to figure out, I read his post early in the afternoon, and then a while later I watched OU play on TV. Pretty f*cking simple math there junior.

Big 12 sends two teams to the Elite 8 after last nights 20 point wins by KU & Tex. And one mid major is in also.

All the #1 Seeds are in. Other than Davidson it would seem this tournament is uneventful for upsets.

3 mid majors and 5 BCS teams. nearly 50-50. Should be interesting. I think Memphis, and Xavier can make it. we'll see.
