Posted By SeahawksSB42champs on 03/06/2008 8:39 AM I remember sitting with a friend whose parents had tix on the west side 40-yard line, and every time we stood to clap along with the fight song after touchdowns, this elderly couple behind us kept telling us to sit down. We did not oblige them. Some of these old farts need to start handing their tickets down to their kids and grandkids (and great-grandkids in some cases). That would improve the quality of fan support on game day in a hurry.
I've heard that the west stadium is the worst place for it, I guess it's like a morgue over there. I sat 7 rows up in the north end zone for 10 years, and if the opponent was backed up to that end zone or getting ready to score we were on our feet screaming, and it seemed pretty well understood that was the way it was going to be. I never heard any complaining. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if Myrtle wants to sit and watch the game in comfort, she should stay the f*ck home. |
