http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3267558 Looks like the Chiefs are making moves to overhaul both sides of the ball. I think this might be the most logical off-season approach I've seen them make for some time. It was crazy, for years that offense was great and they kept sputtering on defense and never really doing anything. Then they brought back Cunningham and I was thinking they were going to really shake up the D, but to my surprise Gunther kept everyone and I was like "bad move, by the time they rebuild the D the O will need rebuilt". Be interesting to see how they progress from here. I wonder if they are going to pay up for Asante Samuel... |

| Too bad they're not overhauling the front office as well. I doubt they will pony up for Samuel, which is fine as it would be a waste of money with as many holes are on the team. |

| I don't know...they ponied up for Law, that surprised me. Gunther likes lockdown CB's....will be interesting to see what happens Friday when the FA meat market opens. |

| I still wouldn't be surprised to see them bring one big name FA...if not him, possibly Faneca or someone. |

| I wouldn't be opposed to Faneca seeing as how abysmal the line was last year. He's still too old to be a long term solution, but it's not like they're going to fix everything in one draft anyway. |

| No, I think they need to do some FA work and I think a Faneca makes sense especially considering that you know they bread and butter is the running game. |

Faneca signs with the Jets, $32M for four years. Too rich for the Chiefs' blood there. They did sign DeMorrio Williams though. |

When all the dust settles it's still the freaking Kansas City Chiefs! I highly doubt they will ever challenge for the AFC West crown with Herm at the helm! I pickem to finish 3rd or 4th in the AFC West. |
