Yeah, so much for NASCAR going back to its roots.
At least let's get some video footage of the throwdown in the trailer. Somebody needs to be designated as the guy who cracks Busch upside his grill once a week until the conceited little bastard realizes he's not God's gift to racing. And I nominate Tony Stewart, who could stand the occasional buddy-slap himself... |

NASCAR is down-playing that any off the track confrontation took place, and that the "probation" was based on the "battering ram" incident on the track and nothing more.

Stewart has always been my personal fav driver. Tony is Tony, he has been to anger management, been fined and even to the point of Home Depot threatening to not sponsor him if he kept up his ways.
I like him and while I do not think striking another person is okay, sometimes boys will be boys and both of the Busch brothers deserve some of that old school discipline compliments of TS.
At Dover last year Busch was fined for an incident with Stewart while pitting. So maybe Tony forgives but does not forget and when the heat got turned up, his boiling point came much more rapidly with Busch. Jimmy Spencer also punked Kurt Busch a few years ago in an incident between those two.
One day the guy will learn to either shut his mouth or fight back. All accounts speak to him being defenseless in both situations. |

I'm a Tony Stewart fan as well, and it was clear that Busch was in the wrong by retaliating. Stewart was trying to slip to the outside and Busch pinched him off and Stewart got into him. All was fine until Busch started reverting to his dumbass ways and rammed Stewart's car coming down to the pits.
All Stewart can be blamed for in that situation was racing. He doesn't deserve a 6-race probation for his actions. Busch needs a 6-race vacation AND a good ass-whoopin'.
And the ladies running NASCAR need to yank their tampons out and grow some stones. Think Cale Yarborough would let Kurt Busch get away with the crap he's been pulling all these years? Hell no...Cale would pummel the llittle shoot with his helmet.
Screw the NASCAR adminsitration...if I want to watch driving like that, I'll stand on the shoulder of I-80 during rush hour. |

Incredibly frustrating finish for Tony Stewart. His first Daytona 500 win at hand and he gets passed up by both Penske cars.
Pontiac, Chevrolet, Toyota it doesn't matter what Tony drives he can and will win in it. |
