Selling his soul for bad guys like Wilfork, Harrison and Moss just ain't cuttin' it. Look for the Pats to acquire Tank Johnson, Odell Thurman, Chad Johnson and first and foremost 2Pacman.

Oh yeah? How about halftime of the playoff game vs. the Steelers 2 years ago where it was rumored he got into a fight with a Bengals coach? Carson Palmer takes that a-hole to task on the sidelines for a reason.

Agree with egami. Chad Johnson is nowhere near the thug those others are. Even if Ocho Cinco did get in a fight with a coach, as I remember, it was due to frustration from losing -- not because he was a thug. You think the reason Carson Palmer takes him to task on the sidelines is because he's a thug? That doesn't even make sense.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

I think Chad is stereotypical WR in regards to wanting the ball. I think that is the reason Palmer takes him to task.

What strings you ask? Let me put it this way, did Randy Moss become real quite once he signed with the Pats? Damn right he did, rumor has it that all Pats players contracts state, " you will not allow yourself to get more media and press exposure than Tom Brady, Tom must be on every magizne cover". Chad would never agree to let Tom get all the spotlight!

Re: Thread starter, I don't agree that hoodie "sold his soul" for Moss & Co. I do however, believe that Chad Johnson is your A-Typical THUG!!! The guy is as belligerant as they come and resembles and transcends everything I've ever known to be a form of "thugism." From flamboyount antics to violent tyrades, he has it all. And who really cares what was really behind his flare up with Palmer. It was out-of-character for Palmer and par-for-the-course for Johnson. The man is a poster boy for the "Celebration of Ignorance", as represented musically by hip-hop.
