I'm curious if this had anything to do with Jimmy Johnson, on National TV at the BCS Championship game, jokingly comment about how "Urban is always recruiting"....and that "he was on his cell phone with recruits prior to the broadcast starting". After the comment, Fox's lead commentator said "I'm sure that's not true since we are in a cooling off period where coaches aren't allowed to communicate with recruits". Oops.

Counting the Herd one hoof at a time.

As to the question, I'm guessing it might have something to do with the fact that Meyer has won a lot of games and he's done it at an SEC school. Sounds like Utes Fan has bitter beer face. People just really don't comprehend the fact that the NCAA is going to let as much slide as possible to keep things looking good when you're at a major D1 school. Besides, "incidents" like this are probably relatively easy for coaches to sidestep through some technicality.
