Despite New England's impressive season, I am going with Romeo Crennel. He is demonstrating that he is slowly putting the pieces together in Celevand.

Gotta think McCarthy is going to get a little love in Green Bay as well...can't say I can argue with that one too much.

Bobby Petrino, hands down.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

You may be looking for a coach who "wins games" or "develops talent" or "exceeds expectations".

Not me. I want a real leader -- someone who can look an owner directly in the eyes and tell boldfaced lies. I want someone who is always looking toward the next job; and not the task at hand. I want someone who preaches teamwork and unity, but only thinks of self.

That's Bobby Petrino.

What a sad sack of sh1t that guy is.

That's an interesting one...I am a Steeler fan and I didn't pick him. Although, he would be toward the top...really like the way he's handled the transition there.

I wanted to name someone "different". New young coach, tough situation taking over for the longest tenured coach in the NFL, and all he does is take his team to the playoffs.

mccarthy didn't make the playoffs last year but kicks ass this year with a young team. that's a turnaround done by a good coach.

Coach of the Year, to me, isn't a reflection necessarily of record, but who rather who exceeded expectations. New England's reward for going 16-0 is in the history books. While I think year in and year out he remains the best coach in the NFL I don't think he deserves this particular honor.

My top five --
1. The Hoodie
2. Wade Phillips
3. Mike McCarthy
4. Jeff Fisher
5. Jack Del Rio

"Perhaps the worst thing that can happen is to reach into the refrigerator and come out with something that you cannot identify at all. You literally do not know what it is. Could be meat, could be cake. Usually, at a time like that, I'll bluff. "Honey, is this good?" "Well, what is it?" "I don't know. I've never seen anything like it. It looks like...meatcake!" "Well, smell it." (snort, sniff) "It has absolutely no smell whatsoever!" "It's good! Put it back! Somebody is saving it. It'll turn up in something." Thats what frightens me. That someone will consider it a challenge and use it just because it's in there." -- George Carlin

Andy Reid!

Most people would have committed suicide with a family like his yet alone coach an NFL team.
