And so am I...because of the legal whirlwind in place he was wise to consult his lawyer prior to making a public statement.

It'll be interesting to see what comes of this: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3233878

McNamee kept the vials, gauze pads and syringes from the 2000 and 2001 seasons because he feared Clemens would deny using performance-enhancing drugs, the source told the Daily News.

DNA only lied in one case in history. And OJ is still not a free man as a result.

Look out Roger!

That sounds to me like a snitch-in-waiting. I would suggest to you that THIS bit of evidence sounds like maybe Clemens is being set up.....and McNamee is waiting for his self-concocted payday.

Wow. That's worse than Monica saving the blue dress. If McNamee did save that stuff, he's a snake. Ultimately he might be proven to be a smart snake -- but a snake nonetheless.

Oh, and OJ didn't kill Ron and Nicole. Haven't you read the conspiracy theory about OJ's son being the actual killer (which explains the DNA), but OJ took the blame to protect his son, because he thought he could get off? And we never landed on the moon. And we crashed planes into our own buildings.

The truth is out there. To think -- all this time we've been bashing OJ for being a murderer, when he was just being a good father.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

It doesn't add up to me...why he saves information on Clemens. Sure will be interesting.

I mean, come on, in 2001 the guy had this much foresight to know to do this? Hard to believe.

Oh well, it'll get interesting now.

There are those that may think this "validates" McNamee's claim, but for me it makes it even more skeptical........he obviously had ulterior motives to save syringes and gauze pads for 8 years.

If all this is even remotely true. McNamee is nothing but a cheap whore. What a snake in the grass waiting to slither out and spew his venom.

Saved the needles? How eerie.

Vranged hit the nail on the head, however he failed to mention that Elvis is still alive and after John Kennedy was shot he actually spent the remainder of his life on a private island owned by Aristotle Onassis who inturn married his ex wife in an overseas wedding to avoid a charge of bigamy.

I think one could make a good case that this "evidence" could be bogus.

Oh you can bet The Rocket's lawyers will challenge the validity of this evidence. How was it handled? Where has it been?

Chances are it won't be allowed due to lack of concrete knowledge of where it has been held all these years.

I agree that the evidence won't be allowed in any criminal actions against Roger, due to the chain of custody argument -- but that won't stop McNamee from getting the results anyway, and revealing them. Roger's fighting in the court of public opinion right now. A scientist saying: "This syringe contains an anabolic steroid and Roger Clemens' DNA" won't be good for the Rocket, even if that evidence is never allowed in a courtroom.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

Good points...public opinion will be exactly that if the tests prove to be positive DNA. Tight spot for Roger, but if his DNA is on those needles. My questions and answers sessions about this case end, like the general public, I will be convinced that Roger did at some point engage in steroid activity.

Didn't you say you're already convinced of that, and no matter what, that wouldn't change?

In some ways, Omahan, aren't you Roger Clemens? Everyone accuses you of being Dman. There's all this circumstantial evidence. But you say you're not, and there's nothing you can seemingly do to prove it.

Clemens has admitted to taking B-12 shots given by McNamee. Having DNA on needles doesn't prove anything. And who's to say McNamee didn't "plant" HGH on those needles used for B-12 shots?

What I am is sports fan. And in reality, that is all you will ever know me as.

I and probably any other human of some sense of sane thinking would rationalize that as a person whom interacts on a message board, you are required to provide nothing except an opinion.

And my opinion is, you have an axe to grind. I do not.

I am allowing myself to be dragged into these petty exchanges with you though.

Do you want to talk sports or are you some kind of guy that the public should be protected from?

Hey, I was talking sports (here). I thought it was a good comparison -- you and Roger Clemens.

After acknowledging that he was desperate, Dwight said "people will resort to saying things they know aren't true when they are desperate." That about sums it up!

Well, not necessarily...if you are from Omaha you could offer to meet up at a sports bar and make him buy drinks for the night for proving him wrong.

Honestly, I am afraid of what he would be capable of. Mr. vranged evidently has been exhibiting this "aggressive" type of behavior on here so long that it is normal to most from him.

Frankly, it is a bit scary for me. He is twisted and mean spirited. I would never want to meet him in person.

And.....you're not in Omaha, so you couldn't meet anyway.
